Morgan Batiste-Simms, President

Morgan is a Senior at St. Kate's majoring in Biochemistry, with a minor in Biology. Her reason for joining Chemistry Club back in her sophomore year was to "experience what chemistry is in the real world, not just in theory." She often refers to chemistry as today's "modern magic." Morgan is excited to share the excitement of chemistry with members through events, meetings, and field trips. She hopes to incite her own passion of chemistry with others through Chemistry Club!

Jessica Bartz, Vice President

Jessica is a Senior at St. Kate’s with a double major in Biochemistry and Spanish! Jessica is also part of the St. Kate’s soccer team. Jessica joined Chemistry Club to “spread [her] wings and meet some new friends who share [her] same love for chemistry.” She is most excited to bring creative ideas to the club in the planning aspect! Jessica also looks forward to sharing her journey into chemistry with everyone.

Gillian is a senior, majoring in Chemistry. She joined the chemistry club because she "[thought] what Chem Club talks about is really cool" and also that "[she] loves the girls that join and how we all help each other out!" As an officer, Gillian  is really excited to have an impact on spreading the word about how "cool" Chemistry Club is.

Jade Le Bris, Treasurer

Jade is a senior, double majoring in biology and biochemistry, with a minor in physics and following a pre-med path. She joined the chemistry club because she wanted to meet people and because she "really [liked] chemistry." As an officer, Jade hopes that she can help new people realize how cool chemistry is!

Kate Nordstrom, Secretary

Kate is a Junior here at St. Kate's, majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Spanish and Psychology. She decided to join Chemistry Club because she "loves the welcoming environment, as well as the fun and interesting opportunities we are offered!" As Secretary, she is excited to meet other students passionate about science, and states, "even if you aren't a chemistry major! Chem Club is open to everybody. Please tell all your friends, science is cool!"

Hope Holte, Co Green Chair

Hope Holte is a fourth year Chemistry major. She is very excited to be a part of chem club this year, stating, "[she] first went to Chem Club back in [her] first year to be surrounded by other chem majors and have fun."

Cammi is a senior Chemistry major. She wanted to join Chemistry Club to learn more about chemistry and to share knowledge and experiences with a group of like minded people. She is most excited to have an impact on the activities that chem club hosts and participates in, as well as meeting other people!

Dr. James Wollack, Sponsor

Dr. James Wollack has worked at St. Kate's for 11 years and has been Chemistry Club's sponsor for the last 10. Dr. Wollack states "chem club is the best because everyone knows chemists have the most fun."
